Hey everyone!

Thanks for even getting this far in reading my news article. My name is Dylan, and I am the sole developer, owner, and operator of BarnesCore LLC, Timberline, and MirandasList. What originally started as a random idea on a Sunday afternoon has finally turned into a reality.


BarnesCore—and predominantly MirandasList—came out of the desire to help my fiancée, Miranda, organize our recipes and groceries. Every week, Miranda dreaded making the grocery list. She had to check the pantry, check King Soopers online, and then check the recipe to see what else was required. I wasn't of much help either; it was a one-person job, and I wasn't very good at it.


But, I did what I am good at: making things.


I started by creating the backend Timberline systems, knowing that MirandasList would not be the only application I would build. This is why we have barnes-core.app, with subsequent applications living on subdomains like mirandaslist.barnes-core.app. I envisioned a centralized authentication ecosystem with a SaaS subscription model that gives users access to perks across all of my apps—even the ones in the future. As the ecosystem grows, the subscription price stays the same, but your access expands to more apps if you choose to use them.


I’m also excited to announce that MirandasList and an official iOS app test are going into beta for close friends and family before the end of March!
